LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA
I just entered office with an amazing thought rather an awkward thought….. I was coming to office in car and moment I switched on the FM channel, RJ announced the song no.1 of the week and to bring my surprise , it was from the movie LSD , the track , which is more often criticized than talked about, these days…..Well , I am not here to criticize about the song or whatever u call that as….. I am just not able to understand what the lyricist is trying to make a point out there …. It seems to me more of a frustration of the youth nowadays,same what once while scanning the channels, came across a soap called emotional atyachaar…. Well there too , all was frustration , I seriously believe that the name of the serial should be changed to "emotional truth = frustration" rather than emotional atyachaar….
We are clapping and whistling on the scenes which, we know is a part of our day to day and emotional life and we would like to react in the same way as the person on the television is doing , they are able to do and shed out their frustration and we are not and that is the reason , we clap for them and people pity on us …………
For me , it sound like that entire youth is living with some kind of frustration,deep inside their mind and heart… whatever they have they are not happy with it … they want something other than it….
Maybe they have grown older in terms of body but remain a fallout as compared to a 2nd grade school child… well, frustration is rising and dissatisfaction is prevailing because they want to have everything right at this point in time …. They just don’t wanna wait and have confidence in themselves whether they will be able to accomplish what they desire and dream ……
So , let the world go to hell and I should be clear within myself that I am not a part of the brigade that’s gonna end up fighting within themselves because of the so called beautiful word,known to world as "LOVE"...'coz behind this beautiful word LOVE lies it's siblings SEX and DHOKHA .....As there are options to listen to another song as well as watch other serials ….. Lemme be happy with all what I have, as contented is what counts and what counts is what I m ….

Read the last paragraph again , You were talking about love and the fighting because of it within self , including sex n dhokha too... and suddenly u changed the tone of previous sentence by saying - as there r other options ...
ReplyDeleteYou were talking about real life's problems and the change in subject n tone suggests you are escaping , not trying to discuss , reveal (may be experience because of which this attitude u have) well I dont mean that u r literally ignoring these serious questions of life - but while writing this you avoided n cut short by saying dat u r contended...
Your write up is gud ... but mainstream cinema n their aim of producing these movies is just to entertain , you can say "desperate audience , or frustrated people" but all youth r not included in this category...!!!
well hope u will come up with more ponderous issues so dat here v can discuss :)

ReplyDeleteI don't wanna ignore the serious discussions however what I have learnt over a period of time is that it's really a waste of time,thinking to change people or their attitude because some simple can't change ... the best way is to ensure that you are not becoming a part of 'em.... and this is what i have mentioned .... There are other serial's / songs and I am opting for 'em....
Anyways.. Thanks a ton for your valuable inputs , Good to see that there are some people still left with their top floor still occupied by themselves and not available for rent out ..... Will definitely take more issues on MY SPACE.... Till then thanks for your valuable inputs and precious time ....
